The Effects Of Sleep Apnea

Based from The National Institute of Health, millions of people worldwide are suffering from sleep apnea. When you have this condition, your airway is blocked when sleeping. It is chronic and disturbs sleep 3 or more nights per week. Those individuals who experience sleep apnea stop breathing multiple times during sleep which results to not enough rest making them groggy and tired throughout the day.

With the help of a family doctor, diagnose this condition as early as possible. After standard tests, the patient will then be referred to a sleep specialist to further assess the condition. Series of exams in determining sleep apnea could be tedious that is why many were not able to complete it. But, those who get treated then have significant improvement in sleeping.

In fact, sleep apnea is a serious condition that can cause death if gone untreated. Many car accidents where reported because of people falling asleep at the wheel. If you are experiencing symptoms of sleep apnea, visit a doctor. With this, you will be able to sleep better and your quality of life will greatly improve too.

I solved sleep apnea without medical treatments – personal experience
At first I didn’t know what sleep apnea was nor that I have it.For several months I didn’t even realize I had sleep apnea. In this period I felt tired, I had no energy and I was sleepy all the time. I didn’t understand why I was tired and sleepy because I was spending more than 10 hours in bed.
