Best Hollywood Celebrity Diets – Healthy Or Unhealthy?

Have you ever wondered how these celebrities get ready their best bodies for their best camera poses?

Let us admit it, we hate them for their shapely bodies and we sometimes wish we had the same kind of well-sculpted, well-built shapely bodies but let me get this straight, they get their bodies not out of luck but out of hard work, discipline and starvation, oops, I mean diet.

Some celebrities just look too good for the camera but there are those who appear sickly and ill that no matter what kind of becoming face they put on, they still look ailing.

There are a lot of stories of celebrity weight loss in the newspapers and in magazines and in the net. They come up with fictional diets to explain how they did remove all the excessive weight, whereas in reality they just starved themselves, not only of food but of the essential foods and fluids necessary for the body to properly function.

Hollywood juice diet is the only thing you drink for a few days, no other essential nutrients or water. The weight comes off because you are starving, like being in a famine, but once you stop the juice diet and start eating regularly again, the weight will come back.

If you are an obese person, starvation may not be a big health issue for you since you have all the stored energy from the fat deposits in your body, but if you are the average-weighing or in the preferred weight kind of person, starvation is never the key to losing more. With this kind of dieting, you are at lesser success rate than the obese ones; it would only give you more frustration as to why you’re not losing weight and a bonus of serious health problems in the future.

Like with a lot of popular Hollywood diets, when your body feels like it is being starved, it will rebel. Your body will fight to hold on to its fat stores, thinking there is a food shortage. You need a long term diet rather than a faddy Hollywood diet if you want to reach and maintain your target weight.

Besides the fact that even if you do lose a lot of weight in such a short time, you will not be able to maintain it, unless you are committed to a maintenance program. Proper dieting involves certain skill as well as a strong sense of will power.

Many celebrities have personal trainers working for them that tell them what to eat and how to exercise. They are just like the rest of us, other than they end up becoming a weight loss diet spokesperson after they have taken off the weight. Many of them get paid to advertise weight loss diets, whether that is what worked for them or not.

The secrets of celebrity diets involve dedication and commitment similar to that that we ourselves struggle with. The very best celebrity diets involves sticking to a practical well thought out intake of foods and fluids and enough sense to know when to stop.

Losing weight is not an overnight process. You did not gain all that weight overnight so you will not shift it in such a short time frame either. So don’t force yourself to lose 3 dress sizes in a night’s starvation. Many of those Hollywood or Celebrity diets are actually very unhealthy for your body. So, is it worth it to diet like a celebrity, just to make you unhealthy?
